upon first glance i didn't love rochas spring 2010 - it didn't knock my socks off

(to use my father's expression).
perhaps i was just yearning for the unmistakable romance wrought

by olivier theyskens' previous collections...

nonetheless, it became clear that marco zanini brought

a different kind of romance - one filled with vibrant colours

(not on display too well in this post sorry - i have an unnatural penchant for shades)

and a summery vibe.

so with that i say, bring on summer and dress me in a little white dress like the one below.

so naturally, i'm going argue that she's part of the reason why this blog exists.

okay, that's a rather sweeping judgement,

but it's true.

we miss seeing her on the runway and in campaigns.

we still check her thread on thefashionspot in the hope that something

new might crop up, but no such luck!

we know she's focusing on acting (wow-wee black balloon!), but

we wish she'd pop back into the fashion sphere just for a visit.
